Actors Bio

Blaine Schlechter is a Canadian Actor, born and raised in Saskatchewan but now calling Alberta home.

Blaine is a University Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising, where he worked for several years in the field of media. Realizing it’s never too late to chase a dream, Blaine began taking acting classes from various schools, including the Alberta based Company of Rogues Actors Studio during which he made his acting debut on AMC’s Hell on Wheels. Since then he has worked on productions for AMC, TBS, FX and CBC, various feature film roles, National commercials and commercial print advertising campaigns.  He recently made his stage debut and has since starred in multiple plays, including a record breaking run of The Full Monty.

In addition to acting, Blaine is also a published journalist with articles appearing in The Calgary Sun, Star Metro Calgary and I'm Here With Magazine. Weekly columns have included restaurant reviews (Lunch Rush) and celebrity interviews (5 Minutes With).
